Commencement of The Use Of Ghana Card Personal Identification Number As Taxpayer Identification Number

The Ghana Revenue Authority (GRA) and the Registrar-General’s Department (RGD) in collaboration with the National Identification Authority (NIA) wish to inform the general public that, effective April 1, 2021, the Ghana card Personal Identification Number (Ghana card PIN) will replace the Taxpayer Identification Number (TIN) of individuals issued by the GRA for tax identification purposes. This change is in line with the Government’s policy on the use of a unique identifier for all transactions where the identification of an individual is required.
Ghana, Zimbabwe underscore need to strengthen ties between both countries

Ghana and Zimbabwe have both stressed on the need to strengthen the ties between the two countries to bring mutual benefits. This was among the issues raised on 18th February 2021, when Ghana’s Ambassador Plenipotentiary and Extraordinary to Zimbabwe, H.E Alexander Grant Ntrakwa presented his credentials to President Emmerson Mnangagwa at a ceremony in the State House in Harare.
